  • Prevent

    It is recommended to keep jewelry dry, clean, and away from chemicals and other metals to avoid tarnish. Using clear nail polish, resealable or cloth bags, warm water with mild soap, and polishing cloth are some ways to do this. Tarnishing may also be avoided by keeping items away from heat, sunshine, and cosmetic products.

  • Always

    Put on perfume, hairspray, lotion, and makeup before putting on jewelry.
    Wipe off with a fresh, soft cloth to get rid of sweat and grease.
    To avoid scratches, store in a box lined with cloth, separately, or individually wrapped in paper.

  • Never

    Do not wear jewelry when performing physically demanding tasks like housework, gardening, or exercising.
    Never use household cleaning agents on jewelry.
    Jewelry should never be exposed to hot tubs or pools with chlorine.
